Sophie is the co-founder of Simon Webster Hair – an award-winning salon in Brighton. The five-star, family-run community hair salon has a team of stylists who split their time between working in-salon and working for fashion publications and designers. They started as a team of five with very little experience and over the eight years they’ve been trading have grown to a team of seventeen.

Sophie is also part of the body to revive the North Laine Traders’ Association, representing the interests of the independent small businesses of their Brighton locale and recently organised a fundraising event for the Brighton Women’s Centre on International Women’s Day and over lockdown helped their local church to provide care packages for the midwives of their local hospital and for vulnerable families and the homeless.
