The business was founded after Mairi and her husband returned from Australia to the Isle of Lismore, due to her parents failing health, and her husband started working on her late father’s oyster farm. It soon became apparent that a lot of people wouldn’t try an oyster so offered them with a drop of booze and the idea for Slàinte Sauces was born. Mairi is also a specialist electrologists with 27 years’ experience.
