https://Theirfuturetoday.com/Sri Lanka travel specialist Lynn Stanier experienced a life-changing moment when she went to the island to volunteer in an orphanage in the wake of the Boxing Day tsunami of 2004. After later discovering that most children in orphanages had parents who were simply too poor to keep them, Lynn was determined to reunite children with their families, and provide them with support and education.
Her charity, Their Future Today, provides housing, schoolbooks, an international pre-school for under-fives, and vocational training to empower institutionalised girls. It has built classrooms and a bakery for 100 girls who were rejected by their mothers after being sexually abused.
Lynn believes that dreaming big and punching above your weight can render the impossible, possible.
