Solicitor and mediator Linda Lamb is one of the founders of LSL Family Law, a boutique legal firm specialising in family law and child arrangements for clients both in the UK and overseas. The company aims to focus on the long-term health of the family, find positive alternatives to court, and minimise stress for those involved.

Linda’s route into the legal profession was an unconventional one; she began studying law while working as a nurse and midwife in rural Aberdeenshire, before spending 15 years as a partner in traditional law firms. Her midwifery training proved handy when a woman went into premature labour during a court hearing!

Alongside working at her law practice, Linda is a member of the advisory board for the women’s networking brand Sister Snog, and mentors university students.
