Hannah James is the owner of The Pet Shed Brighton, a pet shop which focuses on providing ethical and high-quality foods, they also offer a bespoke pet sitting service and host regular events. A previous #SmallBiz100 and awarded Best UK Pet Shop in 2018 by the Dog Friendly Awards, Hannah believes it’s her pride in customer service which sets them apart.

Hannah is a mother, treasurer of the local trader’s association and as a retail business owner, is the ‘tea-girl’ all the way up to financial director. She regularly gives back to the local community by offering training to young adults with learning difficulties and work experience to a local secondary school.
