Frustrated at the lack of suitable dental-care products for her baby daughter Dominique Tillen started Brush Baby to provide ergonomically-designed products which were easy to use by both parent and child.
With a 12 strong product range stocked on the shelves of the majority of the UK’s leading supermarkets and distributed worldwide via 24 distributors, Brush-Baby has become recognised as a leader in early years’ children’s oral hygiene products, and now has an annual turnover exceeding £2m.
Dominique is part of the All Party Parliamentary Group on ‘A Fit and Healthy Childhood’ and lectures at BSDHT (British Society of Dental Hygiene Therapists) on a regular basis. She also offers donations of information and products wherever she can to local women’s refuges, homeless shelters and breakfast clubs. Providing business mentoring programmes and advice at her daughter’s school has proved to be extremely rewarding.
