Temitope Ajayi-Salami

Temitope is an entrepreneur, community builder, and cultural advocate based in Fife, Scotland. She is the founder of AYT Foods, the first Afro-Caribbean grocery store in the region, created to improve access to culturally familiar foods while serving the wider community.

Alongside running AYT Foods, Temitope leads community focused work through TMAS Community CIC, including a self funded food bank, cultural events, and initiatives that support inclusion, wellbeing, and representation. Her work centres on building sustainable businesses that also serve people, culture, and community. Recognised with multiple national awards, Temitope is driven by purpose, consistency, and a commitment to making impact beyond profit.
