https://www.trailrides-wales.comMarianne rides and races motorbikes! She has been encouraging women to compete for many years and was the first woman to qualify as a motorcycle sport coach in 1991.
Along with her female riding friends, they organise “Have A Go” events where bikes and clothing are supplied, in a supportive environment where women are encouraged to accept challenge. They have a Facebook group and website with information on the different disciplines, and liaise with specialist groups such as Women in Speedway and Women in Moto.
She makes rag rugs and patchwork, and enjoys walking in the hills of Mid Wales.
