Gillian Jones-Williams founded her training and development consultancy, Emerge, 25 years ago, after resigning from her job in protest at a case of sexual harassment in the company she worked for. Her first clients – BAE Systems and Airbus – are still Emerge’s biggest clients today, alongside other major companies like Walt Disney, Harper Collins Publishers and the Hilton Hotel Group.

Emerge are also Women’s Development specialists, and five years ago developed a programme called RISE, helping women build confidence and fulfil their career potential.

Gillian has been coaching since the 1990s and is the author of a number of books on the subject. She is also a motivational speaker at events around the world, and the patron of the Aurora New Dawn charity, which supports women who have been stalked, abused or raped.
