The Chai Bike

Sally runs The Chai Bike, a hot drinks delivery business with the ‘communi-tea at its heart.’ Sally handcrafts her masala chai from her home kitchen. She then peddles her product around her town centre on her e-cargo bike which acts as a pop-up café. Sally returned to her home in Wales just over a year ago and is finding joy in relearning the Welsh language. She uses her platform to talk about her passion for environmentalism, to promote other bike-based businesses via her podcast and to share her own experiences with mental illness. Sally has spent the last year recovering from an eating disorder; running her own business allows her to maintain a good work-life balance and generally keep her mind a little healthier.
