Running a product based business can have many challenges, especially in the last few years, but there are incredible successes to be had. We were joined by #iAlso100s Betsy Benn, Maylene Seah and Eilidh Jamieson who shared their founder stories, experiences and top tips in our latest webinar.
About Betsy:
Betsy makes luxury personalised gifts, notebooks, homewares and Christmas decorations making everything in house and sends out about 20,000 gifts per year. Sustainability is high on the agenda with all odds of ribbon, mis engraved notebooks, offcuts of wood all redistributed to schools and creative clubs and groups.
About Maylene:
Maylene is a branding expert and works to transform visionary Muslim businesses into captivating brands that are recognised, remembered and raved about. She recently hosted a branding workshop in collaboration with Sisters in Business and Ramadan Tent at the V&A museum and she is dedicated to championing ethical brands that share her values and vision to leave this world a better place than we found it.
About Eilidh:
Eilidh’s passion for crafting watercolour maps has blossomed into a flourishing enterprise and her artwork allows clients to put their cherished locations with gold, weaving tales of their life’s milestones — be it their birthplace, wedding venue, or a memorable road trip. Eilidh has just released her first art book, which beautifully captures and elaborates on Scotland’s enchanting islands with information on each one.
