Rushina Shah was told a number of times that her product was impossible to produce, but she didn’t let that put her off! Her resilience has led to Not Corn becoming the first popped sorghum product to be launched in the whole of Europe! Where popcorn uses corn, Not Corn use an alternative grain called sorghum, which is set to be ‘the next big superfood’ according to Women’s Health Magazine.

After just a year, they have already got confirmed listings with Ocado, Wholefoods, and The Grocery Shop to name but a few.

Rushina’s advice to new entrepreneurs is to have self-belief and keep going even in the face of rejection.
